Moro communities in Regions 11 and 12 thanked the Office of the Vice President (OVP) as they received the “Eid Food Box” during their Eid al-Fitr celebration.
The food boxes were given to the Muslim communities from the municipalities of Tarragona, Monkayo, Compostela, Nabunturan, New Bataan, Mawab, Maco, Mabini, Maragusan, Pantukan, and Mati City in Region 11.
Meanwhile, the Muslim communities from the municipalities of Maasim, Kiamba, Maitum, Esperanza, Isulan, Polomolok, Norala, Surallah, Lake Sebu, Lebak, and Palimbang in Region 12 were also able to receive the food boxes.
More than 20,000 “Eid Food Boxes” in total were distributed to both regions.
The distribution of EID food boxes is a method by which Vice President and Department of Education Secretary Sara Duterte has united with our Muslim brothers to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan.
Lubos ang pasasalamat ng Muslim communities sa Office of the Vice President (OVP) matapos nakatanggap sila ng "Eid Food Box" kasabay ng kanilang selebrasyon sa Eid al-Fitr, Abril a-dyes ngayong taon.
Umaabot sa kabuuan dalawampung libong (20,000) mga "Eid Food Boxes" ang naipamahagi sa rehiyon onse at dose sa Mindanao.
Nabigyan sa Rehiyon onse ang mga kapatid na muslim na galing sa mga munisipalidad ng Tarragona, Monkayo, Compostela, Nabunturan, New Bataan, Mawab, Maco, Mabini, Maragusan, Pantukan, at Mati City
Habang mga munisipalidad naman ng Maasim, Kiamba, Maitum, Esperanza, Isulan, Polomolok, Norala, Surallah, Lake Sebu, Lebak, at Palimbang ang nakatanggap sa Rehiyon Dose.
Ang pamamahagi ng ‘Eid Food Box” ay paraan ng Bise Presidente at Kalihim ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon Inday Sara Duterte sa kanyang pakikiisa sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim sa pagdiriwang ng Ramadan ngayong taon.
