To elevate the business further, Jay-ar tapped into the opportunities provided by Mag Negosyo Ta ‘Day (MTD), a flagship program of the Office of the Vice President (OVP). Recognizing her unmistakable passion to succeed, the OVP provided a ₱15,000 venture capital grant.
The impact of this support is visible in the now-crowded shelves of the salon. Jay-ar used the funds to buy high-quality professional hair treatments, colorants, and texturizers that were previously out of reach. This strategic infusion did more than buy supplies; it stabilized the shop's monthly income by allowing her to offer a wider range of premium services.
“Siyempre po, masaya ako kasi isa ako sa napili na ma-grant-an para may pandagdag ako dito sa salon ko, mga pambili ko ng mga gamot (professional hair treatments). Ngayon ay nadagdagan at kumikita na ng medyo malaki. Maraming maraming salamat sa Office of the Vice President at kay Sara Duterte sa ibinigay ninyong grant sa amin,” (I am happy because I was chosen as a beneficiary. It gave me additional capital to purchase professional hair treatment supplies for the salon. Now, the business earns more. Thank you to the Office of the Vice President and to Sara Duterte for this opportunity,” the salon owner stated.

Ipinagpapasalamat ni Jay-ar ang patuloy na suporta at pagtitiwala ng OVP sa bisyon ng mga Pilipinong negosyante.
