In Quezon City, the OVP-DOC promptly delivered relief boxes to flood-stricken families in Barangays Manresa, Balingasa, and Apolonio Samson—communities among the hardest hit by intense rainfall and rising floodwaters caused by recent inclement weather.
As of July 23, the Office of the Vice President distributed a total of 461 relief boxes to flood-affected families in Quezon City. The assistance reached several hard-hit communities, with 61 boxes delivered to Barangay Balingasa, 157 boxes to Barangay Manresa, and 243 boxes to Barangay Apolonio Samson.
Each box contained essential food supplies including rice and canned goods to support affected households during the emergency.
Beyond Metro Manila, the OVP-DOC extended its relief operations to Pangasinan, where 3,443 families received aid in response to flooding in the province.
Simultaneously, the OVP-Cebu, Bohol, and Siquijor Satellite Office responded to the needs of residents affected by floods in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City, Cebu, aiding 1,753 families. The distributed relief boxes included dental care products, hygiene kits, sleeping kits, and rice to help alleviate the impact of the disaster on the community.
Moreover, the OVP-DOC also reached out to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) NCR District Office in Parola, Tondo, Manila, by distributing hot meals and drinking water to evacuees, responders, and volunteers. The deployment served a total of 322 volunteers, with more than 1,610 packed biscuits, hot meals, and bottled water delivered to support their humanitarian efforts last July 22.

Ito po ang sangay ng opisina na tumutugon sa mga pangangailangan ng ating mga kababayan sa mga panahon ng ganitong disaster, natural or man-made, at mga iba pang kahirapan na nangyayari sa atin. Nanggaling tayo sa bagyong Crising at ngayon nararamdaman natin ang epekto ng habagat.
