A total of 118 families received food boxes as part of the OVP’s ongoing relief operations for communities impacted by disasters. In addition to food assistance, the office also distributed clothing, sleeping mats, and blankets to help affected residents cope with the aftermath of the fire.
The OVP expressed its gratitude to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) of Tagum and the officials and personnel of Barangay Mankilam for their efficient and swift coordination, which ensured the smooth delivery of aid to those in need.
This relief effort forms part of the OVP’s broader commitment to support vulnerable sectors and communities in crisis across Mindanao.

Agad na rumesponde ang Office of the Vice President – Southern Mindanao Satellite Office (OVP-SMSO) sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan ng sunog na tumupok sa 119 na kabahayan sa Purok Tadena, Barangay Mankilam, Tagum City noong Mayo 5.
Kabuuang 118 na pamilya ang nakatanggap ng food box bilang bahagi ng patuloy na relief operations ng OVP para sa mga komunidad na tinamaan ng kalamidad. Maliban sa pagkain, namahagi rin ang tanggapan ng damit, banig, at kumot upang matulungan ang mga residente sa kanilang agarang pangangailangan matapos ang trahedya.
Nagpaabot ng pasasalamat ang OVP sa City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) ng Tagum at sa mga opisyal at kawani ng Barangay Mankilam para sa kanilang mabilis at maayos na koordinasyon na nagbigay-daan sa maayos na pamamahagi ng tulong.
