The Office of the Vice President (OVP) continues to bring education and hope to Filipino learners through its flagship program, PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners Campaign.
Recently, the initiative reached the province of Oriental Mindoro, where a total of 1,268 pupils from various “Last Mile Schools” received PagbaBAGo Bags filled with essential school supplies, dental kits, and raincoats.
From September 16 to 19, the OVP team visited eight schools in the province, including Silonay Elementary School (219 recipients), Balingayan Elementary School (116), Mamalao Mangyan Elementary School (81), Naswak Hatubuan Bangon Elementary School (218), Mungos Mangyan Elementary School (189), Bailan Elementary School (157), Benli Elementary School (153), and Cambayang Elementary School (135).
The successful distribution was made possible through the support and coordination of the Department of Education (DepEd) – Calapan City and Oriental Mindoro Divisions, along with local government units (LGUs) that partnered with the OVP to advance the campaign’s mission.
Under the leadership of Vice President Sara Z. Duterte, the PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners Campaign remains one of the OVP’s flagship education programs, designed to empower learners across the country by providing the tools they need to pursue their studies with confidence and determination.
Through this program, the OVP continues to champion its advocacy of delivering hope, education, and change to Filipino youth — wherever they may be.
