This September, the Philippines marks the 125th Anniversary of the Civil Service, a milestone celebrating more than a century of dedicated service to the Filipino people.

The Vice President also commended the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for its dedication in enhancing morale by recognizing and honoring public servants across the nation.

Binigyang-diin niya na ang sipag at pananagutan ay hindi lamang mahalaga sa bawat tungkulin sa pamahalaan kundi ito rin ang pundasyon ng isang gobyernong tunay na naglilingkod sa taumbayan.
Pinapurihan din ng Bise Presidente ang Civil Service Commission (CSC) sa patuloy nitong pagsisikap na palakasin ang morale ng mga kawani ng gobyerno sa pamamagitan ng pagkilala at pagbibigay-parangal sa kanila sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa.
Inihayag din niya na ang mga sakripisyo at pagsisikap ng mga lingkod bayan ay nagbibigay ng kumpiyansa sa gobyerno at nagsisilbing patunay sa kahalagahan ng paglilingkod-bayan: “As we celebrate Civil Service Month, let us reaffirm our commitment to be part of a high-performing, competent, and credible civil service.”
